Access to the Masterclass will be free of charge for 10 students who fulfill the following requirements:

  • The candidates must be under 36 years of age on the 30/11/17
  • The candidates may have Italian or foreign citizenship, as long as they have an Italian residence permit (documentation must be provided)

Students can apply for the full period and attend every courses from the 25th of June to the 15th of July.

First half period from the 25th of June to the 3rd of July.

Concert featuring students of the Corso d’Opera with the participation of Alessandro Corbelli, and piano collaborator Angelo Michele Errico at the Teatro Signorelli di Cortona, in collaboration with the Accademia degli Arditi.

 

Course Begins

Vocal technique with Mirella Parutto. Two sessions daily of 3 hours each. Each participant will have an individual session of 30-40 minutes daily. Pianist Collaborator Simone Savina.

Communication with Alberto De Sanctis, trainer, expert coach in effective communication and public speaking.

Team Building: one session daily of 3 hours.

Body Movement and interpretation with Alessandra Panzavolta. Trained at Milan’s La Scala and the Royal Academy of Dance in London.
Dancer and choreographer, Panzavolta was the Artistic Director of S.P.I.D.
Dance Academy in Milan, ballet master and assistant at the Rome Opera and Director of Ballet at San Carlo in Naples.

Chamber Music with Leonardo De Lisi. teacher at the Conservatorio Cherubini in Florence. Pianist Ulla Casalini.

Lessons of interpretation of opera with Andrea Severi, teacher at the Conservatorio Cherubini in Florence.
Two 3-hour sessions daily. Each participant will have an individual session of 30-40 minutes daily.

Concert featuring students of the Corso d’Opera at the Teatro Signorelli di Cortona, in collaboration with the Accademia degli Arditi.

 

Bioenergetics with Alessandro Temperani, Psychologist and Psychotherapist ,
Certified Bioenergetic Therapist at the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis.
Daily 2 hours group session.
As well, each participant will have an individual session between July 1 and July 2.

Mario Marella, Professor of Science and Sport Technology at the University of Florence. Daily 90-minute sessions of physical training specifically for singers. During the course, biometric parameters and preparation protocols will be created for each student, individually.

Acting lessons focusing on body technique and the use of the mask on stage with Hugo De Ana, opera and theatre stage director.

Two sessions a day, 3 hours each.

MMAG André Comploi, Presschef Wiener Staatsoper, “How to communicate the professional image through the media”, André Comploi will lead the partecipants to understand the importance of communication, through the best strategies and instruments.

Open Days
As in previous years, the lessons will be open to Italian and international experts from the opera and music industries, media, partners ad supporters. The public can observe the young singers and faculty during their lessons in vocal technique, interpretation, staging and body movement.
